VOLCAN

I started doing music in 2010 as part of learning music software for my job. A musician friend listened to my first track and told me to find a name and publish it. I uploaded the track on a platform under the name Volcan, I then had the luck to be featured on a once influential French electronic music platform: "The Drone".

From that moment I had gig proposals in Bordeaux and Paris, which led me to release my first proper record on the Parisian minimal synth label "Camisole Records".

I never had a wide audience, but a rather faithful and global one — my tracks are played in many places, which led me to play in Europe as well as in Asia.

I then met Stéphane Argillet, member of "Peine Perdue" and "La Chatte", a musician and multidisciplinary artist who runs the singular label "Objetrouvé". Stéphane is not only releasing selected records with a strong sense of curation, but also manufactures beautiful and limited record objects which I consider pure pieces of art. I have met some of the label artists, we became friends and I now consider the label as a family.

Music has been a highlight in my life, allowing me to expand my horizon, heal, meet unusual people and travel globally — I feel blessed for that. I compose with both machines, synths and computer programs for my releases, and my live sets are based around evolutionary loops which I compose and perform on my beloved Elektron machines.

Remixes

At last, I always enjoyed remixing other artists' titles — some of the remixes are more popular than my own tracks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, enjoy.
